Tester applauds new non-stop flight from Bozeman to Dallas

American Airlines set to launch new seasonal flight

(U.S. Senate)-Senator Jon Tester applauded today’s announcement of a new non-stop flight from Bozeman to Dallas noting that it will boost the economy in southcentral Montana.

American Airlines will begin seasonal non-stop service from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport to Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport beginning June 2.

“The Gallatin is open for business,” Tester said. “Additional flights into Montana spur economic development, expand job opportunities, and promote our state as a destination for tourists from across the globe.”

In 2015, over one million passengers traveled through Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, a 5.6 percent increase from 2014.

Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport is Montana’s largest airport and has seasonal non-stop services to cities across the country, including New York, Chicago, and Portland.

In September, Tester also helped secure a non-stop flight from Great Falls to Chicago.
