Tester statement on Smart Growth award for Billings

(U.S. SENATE) – Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement after word that the City of Billings will receive a $75,000 Smart Growth Implementation Assistance grant to help foster collaboration between city leaders, schools and businesses to improve public health and infrastructure:

“The City of Billings earned this award thanks to the hard work of community leaders and businesses who are dedicated to smart growth, good-paying jobs and a strong economy that will benefit our entire state and future generations.”

Billings is one of five locations in the United States to receive this award.
