Baucus, Tester: More Than $2.2 million for Great Falls Airport

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – U.S. Senators Max Baucus and Jon Tester today announced $2,241,080 for the Great Falls International Airport.

“Bringing good jobs to Montana are my first, second and third priorities,” said Baucus.  “This grant is the right kind of investment to make in the Big Sky State and the Great Falls region.”

“Infrastructure investment is the right way to rebuild our economy from the ground up,” said Tester.  “This funding will put people to work now and will generate economic opportunity for Great Falls and surrounding communities for years to come.”

The grant is for Phase III of the Great Falls International Airport Taxiway Rehabilitation project.

Funds for the project are provided under authority of the Wendell H. Ford Aviation Investment and Reform Act for the 21st Century (AIR-21).
