Billings law enforcement is receiving more than $152,000 in funding for supplies and equipment Thursday.

The funding will cover the costs of rechargeable flashlights, charging docks, batteries for various devices, addressing hail damage on the county helicopter, and acquiring a Motorola APX portable radio.

A release from Sen. Jon Tester’s office said the Billings Police Department will spend $132,161 of those funds on getting interior patrol SUV equipment, simulation ammunition, Point Blank vests, TASER training cartridges, uniforms, AED batteries, First Aid supplies and promotional items.

The funds came from Byrne JAG Grant.
