Tester Statement on Closure of R-Y Timber

Following the news of R-Y Timber’s closure of their Livingston sawmill, U.S. Senator Jon Tester released the following statement:

“R-Ys closure after more than 25 years of creating good-paying jobs and responsibly managing forests in Montana is tough news for Livingston. I’m ready to help the region rebound by working to ensure that folks have access to resources they need to support their families and communities.”
