Tester statement on Rep. Giffords’ return to the House of Representatives

(U.S. SENATE) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester released the following statement following Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords’ return to the House of Representatives this evening:

“Sharla and I watched in awe as Congresswoman Giffords returned to the job she loves.  Her heroic journey on the long road to recovery reminds us that nothing is more powerful than the human spirit, or the faith that inspires it.  Our thoughts and prayers remain with Gabby, her friends and family, and with all the people of Arizona.  We look forward to more chapters of her amazing story of survival and public service.”
