Tester: Plane crash a ‘tremendous loss’ for Montana

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement in response to the Montana plane crash that killed Erika Hoefer, Sonny Kless, Melissa Weaver and Brian Williams:

“Today I ask all Americans to join Sharla and me in saying a prayer for these four young Montanans and their grieving families and friends.  Our state suffered a tremendous loss in this crash.  Erika, Sonny, Melissa and Brian cared deeply about the people they loved and the communities they made better.  They will always be missed.

“Our thoughts, prayers and support also go out to the Kalispell Daily Inter Lake, to all those involved in the search and recovery effort, and to the communities of Kalispell and Missoula.  We join you all in mourning death and celebrating life.”

Brian Williams, 28, worked as an intern for Tester in 2008.
