Tester: Wardell ‘truly left Montana a better place than he found it’

(HELENA, Mont.) – Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement in response to the death of John Wardell, director of the Montana office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency:

“This is tough news for all Montanans, and especially for everyone who had the honor of knowing John.  He was a public servant who truly left Montana a better place than he found it.  Sharla and I send our thoughts and prayers to John’s family and to the all folks whose lives he touched.”
