Tester, Daines Encourage Montanans to Get Vaccinated In New PSA

Senators highlight vaccines’ role in protecting Montana communities, boosting state economy in joint Public Service Announcement

U.S. Senators Jon Tester and Steve Daines are teaming up to release a Public Service Announcement (PSA) encouraging Montanans to make an appointment to receive their COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.

“Hi folks, Jon Tester here. And I’m Steve Daines. While it’s true Steve and I don’t always see eye to eye, there’s one thing we agree on. And that’s getting your COVID-19 vaccine. It’s our best shot at putting this pandemic behind us for good. These vaccines are safe, effective and free, and they are available to all Montanans sixteen and older. You can go to vaccinefinder.org for more information. We both got our shots. We hope you get yours soon!”

All Montanans aged sixteen and older are currently eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. According to the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, 684,057 total doses have been administered, and 305,030 Montanans are fully immunized as of Tuesday, April 27th.

Vaccine appointments at participating clinics, pharmacies, and other locations can be found at vaccinefinder.org.
