Tester Tours St. Mary’s Diversion Project

(Shelby, Mont.)â?‘U.S. Senator Jon Tester issued the following statement after touring the St. Mary’s Diversion Project on Monday:

“This project is critically important to sustaining the economy in north central Montana. I’m committed to working with the tribes, city and county governments, farmers and ranchers, and sportsmen to ensure this project has the resources it needs to support healthy communities, good paying jobs, and stronger agriculture and outdoor industries.”

As a senior member of the Appropriations Committee, Tester is working to secure funding for this project in the upcoming budget.
