Tester Statement on Cancelled House Health Care Bill Vote

(U.S. Senate)-Senator Jon Tester today issued the following statement after the U.S. House of Representatives cancelled a vote on a bill to repeal the Affordable Care Act:

“It’s no wonder the House cancelled its vote. This bill slaps folks who are in their 50s and 60s with massive health care costs, steals money out of Medicare, and kicks hardworking folks off their health insurance. This bill is irresponsible and bad for Montana.”

Tester has held over a dozen health care listening sessions and town hall meetings in Montana to discuss the Affordable Care Act and American Health Care Act.
