Tester slams Senate for dodging its Constitutional responsibility

(U.S. Senate) – Senator Jon Tester slammed his colleagues today for refusing to hold a Senate hearing or a vote on any U.S. Supreme Court nominee:

“Our Constitution is clear: the Senate has a responsibility to consider any and all Supreme Court nominees. Refusing to do so is a reckless disregard of our constitutional duty and obstructionism at its ugliest.”

Multiple news sources confirmed today that the Senate majority is refusing to consider a nominee until after the November election.
