Tester names new Communications Director

(U.S. SENATE) – U.S. Senator Jon Tester today named Marneé Banks as his new Communications Director.

Banks most recently served as News Director for KRTV in Great Falls and KXLH in Helena.

A Helena native and graduate of Helena High and the University of Montana School of Journalism, Banks previously served as the Montana Political Reporter for the Montana Television Network.

Banks joins longtime Tester communications aides, Dan Malessa and Les Braswell.

Banks and Malessa, Tester’s Deputy Communications Director and Press Secretary, will work out of Tester’s office in the Hart Senate Office Building in Washington, D.C.

Braswell, Tester’s Montana Press Secretary, works out of Tester’s Missoula Field Office.

Tester’s outgoing Communications Director, Andrea Helling, accepted a new position as Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director for Senator John Walsh.
