Tester applauds new SeaCast jobs in Butte

(U.S. SENATE) – Senator Jon Tester today applauded news that SeaCast’s manufacturing facility in Butte will team up with GE Aviation to create more Montana jobs and increase production through a new joint venture called Montana Precision Products:

“GE’s decision to expand operations at SeaCast is welcome news for Butte and southwest Montana. Montana has hard-working people, great schools, healthy communities, and a rich outdoor heritage that make our state an ideal place to grow business and create jobs, and I thank GE for helping to lead the way.”

SeaCast operates a titanium foundry just west of Butte that opened in 2010. It specializes in high-quality titanium investment castings.

Tester is a major supporter of Montana businesses like SeaCast. He has hosted twelve Small Business Opportunity Workshops across Montana to serve thousands of business owners and entrepreneurs.
