Tester statement on Montana’s Walter Breuning

At 112, Breuning is believed to be the world’s oldest living man

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement in honor of Walter Breuning of Great Falls.  Mr. Breuning, 112, is now believed to be the world’s oldest living man after the Saturday passing of 113-year-old Henry Allingham of England.

“Born just seven years after Montana became a state, Walter Breuning has watched the history of our state unfold.  Mr. Breuning lives every day to the fullest, as he has for more than a century.  That’s a value that always keeps you young at heart.”

Walter Breuning lives at the Rainbow Retirement Center in Great Falls.  He was born on September 21, 1896.
