Tester ready to cheer on Big Sky All-Stars in the U.S. Championship Game

(CRAIG, Mont.) – Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement after the Big Sky All-Stars from Billings defeated the team from California to advance to the U.S. Championship Game at the Little League World Series:

“No matter what happens from here, Montana’s team has secured a place in history with tonight's win.  It's a testament to hard work, strong coaching and outstanding young players from Billings who make our entire state proud.  Sharla and I look forward to joining all Montanans in cheering for these boys on Saturday afternoon."

The Big Sky All-Stars defeated California by a score of 1-0 in extra innings.  They will take on the winner of tomorrow’s game between Pennsylvania and California in Saturday’s U.S. Championship Game at 1 p.m. (MT).  If they win, they will play for the Little League World Series title on Sunday.
