Baucus, Tester: Air Force Secretary to visit Montana next week

Senators invited Secretary to see Malmstrom A.F.B. two weeks ago

(BILLINGS, Mont.) – Following a request by U.S. Senators Max Baucus and Jon Tester, Acting Secretary of the Air Force Michael Donley will visit Great Falls, Malmstrom Air Force Base, and the Montana Air National Guard Station, next Friday, August 22.

The request was made when the Senators met with Donley two weeks ago to discuss the role Malmstrom and the Montana Air National Guard Station will play in the nation's future military operations.

Baucus and Tester invited Donley to tour Montana's Air Force facilities and meet with the award-winning airmen and women stationed in Great Falls.

Joining Donley on his trip to Montana will be Air Force Chief of Staff General Norton Schwartz.
