UP: Banking on Tester

Sen. Jon Tester, D-Mont., has been appointed chairman of the Senate Banking Committee's Subcommittee on Economic Policy, which has oversight responsibility for monetary policy and addressing systemic risk to the financial system. The panel also is responsible for setting policy on such things as small-business loans and flood insurance.
