BILLINGS – With more than 60% of the country suffering under drought conditions, Senator Jon Tester has launched a new website offering resources to those affected.

The site contains information including links to the national drought monitor as well as links to financial assistance resources for those who have suffered agricultural losses under the drought.

There is also a link to HayNet where farmers and ranchers affected by drought and recent wildfires can get help acquiring hay for their livestock.

Tester is also leading a bipartisan effort on Capitol Hill to establish a drought task force to help drought stricken Americans who need financial assistance as a result of the dry conditions.
