Tester Announces 17th Small Business Opportunity Workshop in Great Falls
Senator's Event to Connect Vets and Businesses
(Big Sandy, Mont.) - Senator Jon Tester today announced he will be hosting his 17th Small Business Opportunity Workshop in Great Falls to connect veterans and businesses together.
The event, held leading into Veterans' Small Business Week, will feature veteran-owned businesses and businesses that employ veterans. Additionally, it will connect veterans with job opportunities.
"Montana's veterans have served our nation courageously. When they return from war we must do all we can to connect them with job opportunities so they can transition from service member to civilian," said Tester, Montana's only member of the Veterans' Affairs Committee. "This workshop will encourage entrepreneurs to hire veterans and empower veterans to become entrepreneurs."
