Tester statement on Treasury Department nominee
Senator Jon Tester issued the following statement after supporting Adam J. Szubin to serve as the U.S. Treasury Department's Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Crimes:
"Adam is tough and just the kind of guy our nation needs to continue to hold bad actors like Iran and North Korea accountable. I'm pleased to see the Banking Committee finally move this nomination forward, and I urge the full Senate to act quickly because we must put forth every effort as we fight terrorism and keep our nation safe."
