Tester to hold veterans listening sessions in Missoula and Kalispell this weekend
(U.S. SENATE) - Senator Jon Tester, a senior member of the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee, will hold two veterans listening sessions this weekend in Missoula and Kalispell to hear from Montana veterans about VA healthcare and benefits.
After recent reports that the VA mismanaged waiting lists for veterans seeking care, Tester announced a series of steps he is taking to address access to care issues, including a statewide tour to hear from Montana veterans regarding the services available to them from the VA.
Montana veterans are encouraged to join Tester to share their thoughts on ways to improve the VA and build on the department's strengths.
Tester's Missoula listening session will be held at Missoula College on Friday, June 20 at 1:00 p.m.
Tester's Kalispell listening session will be held at Flathead Valley Community College in the Art and Technology Building on Sunday, June 22 at 1:15 p.m.
