Ag Secretary to visit Montana

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — Sen. Jon Tester says U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack plans to visit Helena, Deer Lodge and Bozeman on Saturday.

Vilsack is scheduled to meet with ag producers in Helena Saturday morning. Vilsack, who also oversees the U.S. Forest Service, plans to discuss the Forest Jobs and Recreation Act with Tester in Deer Lodge. The two also plan an aerial tour of beetle-killed forests.

Vilsack and Tester also plan to visit a school in Bozeman to discuss the Child Nutrition Act and farm-to-school food efforts in the state.
