Tester statement on Supreme Court-nomination of Elena Kagan

(BIG SANDY, Mont.) – Senator Jon Tester today released the following statement in response to the nomination of U.S. Solicitor General Elena Kagan to serve on the U.S. Supreme Court:

To earn my support, any Supreme Court nominee needs to understand the values important to Montanans.  I look forward to visiting with Solicitor General Kagan and learning more about her principles and her legal perspective to make sure she’s right for Montana and America.
